Location and Mobile Applications in the Modern World

Mobile devices are changing the way we experience the physical world, from personal usage to work applications. On June 7th, 2010 Pegshot Co-Founder Phil Thomas DiGiulio (@holaphil) opened Internet Week NYC along w/ three panelists who, working with brands, successfully use mobile media to share information in new and innovative ways. The conversation focused heavily on the exponentially growing field of location-based marketing/advertising and covered topics including food, travel, branding (large and small), and real estate (local). On July 22, 2010, marketing professionals and social media communicators came together to watch Yelp, TriOut and Pegshot discuss both the challenges and opportunities for location based social networking. The event was hosted by MITX (the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange) and panelists included:
